Good impression and condition. There were also impressions made of the verso of the medallion with a coat of arms. The identification is confirmed by his portrait in the funeral procession of William of Orange,
with the name Sr. Gerard de Schoten. |

The spot in the third state is caused by the hole in the medallion by which it could be hung around the neck. |
